Es ChinoREY, is a household name in the Colorado Nightlife Scene. Not only known for rock'n club nights at the HOTTEST nightclubs in Mile High City (Denver), Es ChinoREY is also known for his production with remixes in a vast variety of genres. At a young age, Es ChinoREY's Dj'ing interests came to just by pure accident. He was just 12 yrs old walking home from school and stopped in at a local record shop, being curious, he picked up his first mixed tapes by Dj Z-Trip and another from a local artist by the name of Dj Tribal Touch. It was grime, deep bass lines, off beat drums, weird congas and raw sounds, not the normal sounds that he heard on the local radio stations, that he fell in love with. From that day on he made a choice to become a Dj. Not even knowing what a Dj actually did, he went back to the local record shops and started asking a whole lot of questions about what it takes to be a Dj. The clerks were nice enough to give him a bit of knowledge of what it takes... basically a whole lot of practice and even more, a whole lot of dedication. At that point, Es ChinoREY started his record collection... which to date consists of over 5000 records (now in storage because of the best invention ever, SERATO!!!).

At age 16, he picked up his first set of Tech1200s and a Vestax mixer and hooking it up to his fathers audiophile home theatre system, he fried a ton of his fathers equipment =) blasting deep dark bass lines and high tweet tweet sounds. He started out as a Jungle/DnB Dj for just about 1 yr and started branching out to other genres such as House, Hard House and Ghetto Booty House, Breaks and Speed Garage and basically anything he could get his hands on. But it was only when he started spinning HipHop is when he knew that genre was his calling. HipHop was his choice to listen to, to dance to, to party to... it was a lifestyle that Es ChinoREY fell in love with. The music was already a part of his life, B-Boy'n to Old School HipHop was a daily for Es ChinoREY. To become a good Turntablist is what his goal was at that time and accomplishing that was long road, but was rewarding when he placed a couple times in yearly local Guitar Center Battles store level. Goals in his progression as a Dj was very important and also being as versatile as possible was just as equally important. Always striving to be better than what he is now, he lives by his motto: "STAY HUNGRY" - don't be content of where you are at, stay hungry so you can always be motivated to accomplish more.

Currently Es ChinoREY has been working on a project called Klutch Beat BOOTique, which is a Dj crew that he and long time friend Dj Blend launched in Denver April of 07'. From that date Klutch Beat BOOTique has picked up some MAJOR Hitters in the game, Dj Brandon Lee (ranked #1 Dj in Colorado Springs), Tee Trance (was always a HUGE staple in Colorado's Electronic Scene), DVDJ G-Funk (Official Pro Pioneer DVDJ) and MC Big Tone Lok. Klutch Beat BOOTique has been branded by the Colorado Nightlife Scene as 303's Premier Mashup Crew, and humbled by this honor.
