ATELIER-CARREAUX is an EGL/EGA studio comprised of:
koze . lisukitty . angeliq . holydust . tetawana

Acronym meaning "Elegant Gothic Lolita"; a style popularized by teens in Harajuku and Mana,
the guitarist for the bands Moi-Dix-Mois and Malice Mizer. Typical EGL clothes consist
of ensembles worn hundreds of years ago (such as peticoats, frilly shirts, stockings, etc),
only more often in darker colours and styles. "EGA", which stands for "Elegant Gothic Aristocrat",
is the male equivalent of this fashion style. EGL is actually a subset of Lolita, which consists
of a broader range of doll-like clothes. These include, but are not limited to, Sweet Lolita
(soft, bright colors and fabrics), Country Loli (ginghams and straw!), Qi-Loli (Chinese Lolita),
Classic Lolita (a less gothic form of EGL, more Victorian), Punk Lolita, and so on.
