I initially wanted to see what all the fuss was about in creating, when I started I was really confused and didn't think I would continue to create, eventually I learned some tricks and started enjoying being a creator.
𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲?
Be patient with yourself, creating on IMVU is a learning curve, the best way to start is with hair! It is an item that is not too confusing and can kick start everything else for you. Always ask for help from other creators, friends who create and/or IMVU community support.
𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀?
Customs at the moment I don't really take on, if I do they are on the high price of a charge. Requests I do take.

Yes IMVU can be a main source of income, though it is not my main income, a lot of creators rely on these payments. And there is nothing wrong with that! Who doesn't want to work from home all day, any time of day or night? It's a dream!

Unfortunately it comes with territory for most creators, competition to be the best creator is what they all want, to be consistently on the ''first page'', to get their shop noticed, which yes in hindsight it's good, but it is also sad, creators do not create for fun or for what they like anymore, most creators now just create for profit and have lost their spark in what made IMVU creating fun. I'd like to think I'm a humble creator, I like to chill and chat with anyone doesn't matter who they are, I am not fussed over if I am first page or page 100, as long as I continue enjoying what I do, clout doesn't matter to me.
